Penza confectionary cluster presents production at Prodexpo-2016 trade fair

Penza, 8 February 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza confectionary cluster is presenting its production at the 23rd Prodexpo-2016 international trade fair for food, beverages and food raw materials, which opened at the Moscow Expocentre on Monday, February 8.

For participation in the trade fair, the Center of Cluster Development fully booked an exhibition booth in the hall No. 3 of the pavilion No. 7.

A total of six companies are presenting their production under the umbrella brand, “Penza Confectionary Workers Union”: Bekovsky RPK “Oktyabr,” confectionary plant “Ageevsky,” “Diad,” “Bosa Nova” “Penza Chocolate Company,” and “Bessonovsky Bread Products Plant.”

“On the first day of the fair, the booth of the Penza Confectionary Workers Union was visited by many guests. Each of the participating companies presented their products on a separate attractive display window. Representatives visiting the booth are able to discuss partnership conditions with their new partners, sample the goods and exchange contact data,” the press service for the Center of Cluster Development commented for PenzaNews agency.

The Prodexpo international forum is one of the most respectable annual events in the food and beverage industry. For over 20 years, it has been defining the development vector of Russian food industry. Through the years of its existence, it played an important role in forming and developing the Russian food sector.

By promoting high-quality food products to the Russian market, Prodexpo facilitates implementation of priority national projects to improve living standards of Russian consumers.

In 2016, a total of 2,309 companies and producers from 65 countries of the world are presenting best foods and beverages, as well as cutting-edge technologies, on a space of over 100,000 sq. meters. In addition, companies from 35 countries are featured in standalone fair zones grouped by nation.
